Legal Training:
Currently, I am working on an eLearning module about Competition and Consumer Law, in particular, cartel conduct.
1) How can gamification be used to engage and motivate participants?
In combination of instructional design of structuring the course into mini, bite-sized "chunks" of learning; and storyboarding of a protagonist as they , I will be able to create a narrative
2) How can badges be used to reward and recognise achievements?
3) How will evaluation be conducted to measure the success and ROI of the program?
Using Kirkpatricks's Evaluation Model, evaluation will be measured by:
Reaction
- Simple quiz to test the basic concepts based off the learning objectives
- Survey to identify what they did like/dislike about the course as well as how it can be improved
This would be completed immediately after finishing the course content.
Learning
- Quiz boosters to encourage them to recall the information. If they respond incorrectly, they are reminded where to find the information in the course.
This would be sent out 3 months from completion date.
Behaviour
- Scenario based testing to identify how they would respond in the shoes of someone witnessing cartel conduct
This would be sent out about 6 months from course completion.
Results
- Another quiz following a short refresher video to ensure they are still experts in Cartel Conduct.
This would be sent out about 12 months from course completion
